Who we are

Information we collect

We only collect what's needed to run the church website and member portal:

• Member accounts: if you sign up for a member account, we store your name, email address and account preferences with our database provider, Supabase, to run your login and portal.
• Giving: if you give online, payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details, we only keep a record of the amount, date and which member account it belongs to (if you were logged in).
• Prayer requests, ideas and enquiries: anything you submit through the member portal or contact form is stored so our team can respond, and is emailed to our ministry team for follow-up.
• Chat widget: questions you type into the "Ask eDestiny" chat assistant are sent to Anthropic (the AI provider) to generate a reply. We don't attach your name or account to these messages.

How we use your information

To run your member account, respond to prayer requests and enquiries, process giving, and send you church updates you've asked to receive. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies and similar technology

This site keeps a small note in your browser (using local storage, not a tracking cookie) to remember that you've seen our cookie notice, and to keep you signed in if you have a member account. We don't currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent first where required.

Third parties we use

• Supabase, member accounts and portal data
• Stripe, secure payment processing for giving
• Netlify, website hosting
• Anthropic, powers the "Ask eDestiny" chat assistant

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information at any time by emailing edestinyfamily@gmail.com. You can also unsubscribe from church emails, or close your member account, whenever you like.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
